I am SO excited to share the new logo and branding for hand+heart from the amazing team at Golden Palms Press! Through the years, hand+heart has taken on many identities-- rustic, boho, boho-chic-- but what has never changed is the heart behind the brand. ME! As I have evolved as a woman (also mother, wife, business owner, employer, etc.), the brand identity of hand+heart has evolved right alongside me. I believe we (me and h+h) have matured and come into our own in this industry. We're not afraid to break the mold, be different, and embrace ideas and designs that others may shy away from. We're not too concerned with whats "trending", as love and celebration is always trending, and we're not too worried about what others think about us. Of course, we stay up to date and evolve with the times, but we are focused on connection, hospitality, and intention with everything we do. Making people feel seen and special never goes out of style.
I am also expanding as a business so I can better serve our couples and vendors. Bringing on new team members to help in the day-to-day planning has allowed me to better focus in on my couples' needs and has allowed me to elevate designs in a way I was incapable of doing when it was just me. This means larger productions, making bigger dreams come to life, and taking risks with design! Arael, hand+heart's associate planner, has been assisting me on weddings since 2017. She has an extensive background in hospitality and restaurant management and anticipates what is needed before it is needed. She is a true asset and I am so very lucky to have her! Shefali, hand+heart's production lead, has been with hand+heart since 2021 and is an all around badass. She leads our vendor team on larger productions and is my eyes and ears while I am attending to the couple or off-site for the ceremony. She's got a no-bullshit air to her but does everything with a side of humor and wit. I've also added on morning coordinators, Lia and Kelly, to ensure that the wedding morning starts smoothly and that the couple, their wedding party and family, and vendors feel taken care of and have a clear lead throughout the day. My design assistants, Nicole, Karen, and Zikri are pivotal to the execution of the design day-of. They all have an eye for detail and ensure that every design item is styled to perfection.
I am thrilled to usher in this new era of hand+heart! I am so proud of how hand+heart has grown over the last 10 years and I am certain that the next decade will be the best yet. I am leaning into what I love and tapping into all that inspires me. I am so grateful for all the couples that have trusted me and inspired me along the way-- I could not have evolved if it were not for every single wedding in the books! And finally, I am excited for all the future couples, epic designs, and raging parties to come! Cheers to another decade!
